Fee: $100 if received by March 30, $110 thereafter.

What to bring: Writing materials, a back jack or a favorite pillow to sit on, and socks or slippers to wear. Water is allowed in the space. We will be breaking for lunch and there are some nearby places to get food. Or feel free to bring a bagged lunch and eat at the church.

Location: The church is located in a residential neighborhood just north of West Hartford Center. Parking is available in the rear of the building and on the nearby residential streets. Please enter the church from the glass entry located on the left side of the building (when looking a the church from the street). Enter the glass entry, turn right, go up one flight of stairs, take a left and the Program Center is on the left.

This workshop explores how the ancient definition of the word psycho-pathology, which is “a suffering of the soul”, can focus our healing energies. Participants will clarify how their souls have suffered, what healing the soul is asking for and how to support a commitment to a healing path. The day can be one of healing renewal or a jump start toward increased personal growth.

This workshop employs short lectures, storytelling, paired
exercise, guided meditation and movement.

Facilitators

Jennifer Jondreau Thompson, Ph.D., is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice in Avon, CT. She is trained in Gestalt, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Yoga and EMDR. For the past 20 years, Jennifer has held deep devotion for her work with adolescents, adults, and groups.

Margaret Harris, LPCA, MA, is a licensed Professional Counselor in CT. She is experienced in facilitating groups through experiential and group process. Margaret is trained in EMDR and is Certified as a Healing Touch Practitioner. She is also a graduate of the Priestess Path Apprenticeship designed for women to bring forth their vision in the world.

Paul Dunion, Ed.D, is a teacher and psychological healer who has been offering workshops, classes, and writing about human potential since 1980. He has written five books with the sixth, Wisdom – Apprenticing To The Unknown, due out early next year.

Payment can be made in two ways:

Credit Card: If you would like to pay with a credit card please include a cell phone number when registering. Once your registration is received, Jennifer will text you a request from IVY Pay, a HIPPA Compliant payment service, where you can add your credit card information.

Your total fee will be the registration fee + a 3% service fee for processing the credit card.
