Jennifer is a member of the Registry of Yoga Teachers (RYT 500 hours). She received her training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in New York, twelve years after she took her first yoga class there as a teenager.

Jennifer pursued her yoga teacher training because of the profound impact it had on her when she was 15 years old. Yoga changed the way she felt about her body, it reduced her anxiety and created an overall sense of peace in her life. Becoming a yoga teacher has allowed her to share these positive experiences with others.

Sivananda is a form of hatha yoga that focuses on asanas, full yogic breathing and relaxation.  A class usually involves some quiet meditation, breathing exercises, sun salutations, inverted postures, relaxation and balancing postures.
